Curiouser is a small audience insight consultancy specialising in the cultural, heritage and charity sectors. Led by Alice Fenyoe, a qualitative researcher with over 25 years experience, it was founded to provide these sectors with affordable and expert audience insight.
Our core specialisms are around the development and evaluation of exhibitions and galleries – helping curation and interpretation teams develop narratives, content and experiences that are relevant, exciting, insightful and memorable for the audiences they’re targeting. We’re particularly experienced at how to engage audiences in challenging subjects – from climate change to aid work to cancer.
Alice established Curiouser in 2011, after honing her qualitative research skills at a number of reputable research agencies for 20 years. At Curiouser she’s worked with a range of brilliant organisations to deliver audience insight – from the cultural sectors: the Science Museum, Natural History Museum, IWM, Historic Royal Palaces, Penguin Random House; and from the charity sector: Save the Children, WaterAid, WWF, Barnardo’s amongst others.

IWM in the evaluation of its three year Second World War and Holocaust Partnership Programme (meeting NLHF funding requirements)
The Natural History Museum in an evaluation of the redevelopment of its entrance gallery – Hintze Hall
Historic Royal Palaces in the evaluation of its half term activities at Kensington Palace
The Crick Institute in the development of its exhibition about cancer treatment innovation
