Speciality:

Nicky specialises in qualitative evaluation, techniques and processes. She is highly experienced in working with a wide range of audience groups using a variety of traditional and creative data gathering tools such as focus groups, observation, one-to-one interviews, surveys, sticky dot ratings, creative comments cards, modelling and personal meaning mapping. She is skilled in complex analysis of qualitative data and provides useful, meaningful reports.

Background:

Nicky has worked as an audience research and evaluation consultant since 2000. Previously she was Manager of the Livesey Museum for Children (Southwark Council) and Exhibition Project Manager at the Museum of the Moving Image (British Film Institute). She has an Honours Degree in Archaeology of the Eastern Mediterranean from Liverpool University, a Postgraduate Diploma in Museums Studies from Leicester University and a Certificate in Teaching in Adult and Higher Education from the University of London. She is a professional member of the Visitor Studies Group, the Museums Association and the London Museums Group. She was Chair of the Visitor Studies Group from 2006-2008 and is currently a committee member of the London Museums Group.
